My name is Ryan Edwards, and I am an Audio Engineer. I was born and raised here in the Las Vegas valley. As far back as I can remember I always loved music. Whether it was Marvin Gaye, The Temptations, Run DMC, or LL Cool J, I loved listening to music. When I was in middle school I began writing poetry. The poems eventually started turning into rap songs. In high school I began performing my songs in local talent shows around the city. When I was a junior my older cousin decided to take me to a recording studio to record one of my songs. I loved going to the studio to work on music, but it was not a cheap luxury. Studio time was costing me between 35 and 65 dollars per hour. I could not afford to pay these prices. This is what lead me to wanting to learn the craft myself. I am going to school to receive my B.S. degree in Audio Production, and I will be graduating from the AiLV in March 2011.
